The Individual Learning Plans
for Kentucky's 6th grade through 12th grade students, are changing the way in which students prepare themselves for their future. The ILP has many features and resources that engage students in a variety of activities from exploring careers and postsecondary opportunities and life goals to connecting to the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority’s website (KHEAA.org) for assistance with college planning, tuition and applications. To gain access to the ILP, both students and parents are required to have a username and password, which are provided by the student’s school career advisor.
Who uses the system?
Students and parents, school and district teachers, administrators and staff, and Kentucky Department of Education
What data are collected?
Student data include career and interest inventories and a variety of student planning information input by the students themselves.
